About Me

Hello and welcome.  I am Amy Wagner Anzilotti, M.D., a Board Certified Pediatrician living in Wilmington, DE with my husband and three school age children.  After college at Lehigh University and a brief stint in the media at C-SPAN, I attended Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, PA with the intent to become a psychiatrist. However, it only took one day on my pediatric rotation and I fell in love with the open resilience of children.  From there, I did my pediatric residency at Yale New Haven Hospital in New Haven, CT.  We moved to Wilmington in 2004 to be closer to family.  I started with www.BrandywineBuzz.com as co-owner and online medical consultant in 2007.  I have been in private practice first in East Haven, CT and then in Wilmington, DE.  I am currently a medical editor for www.Kidshealth.org and on staff at Nemours/Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children in Wilmington.  I love connecting with other families about children’s health.  My goal is to make parenting easier and less stressful so that we can better enjoy this gift together!

  1. I am so glad to have found your blog. I love the articles I have been reading.

I also wanted to let you know my family was so sad you left private practice. We miss seeing you and hearing your great advice and caring words. Glad there is a place I can still find the advice!

  2. Dear Dr. Amy – I am so glad that you continue to share your wealth of knowledge with all of us. I have enjoyed reading your articles in the Buzz for the past few years. I also miss you seeing you at the office and appreciate all of the help and guidance you provided as our family pediatrician for the past three years. Hopefully we will see you from time to time around Wilmington! And I will continue to follow you on the web for more great advice. Best of luck with your future endeavors.
